Animals This fauna list was compiled from observations by Brian Mc Innes (Parramatta, Council) and Tony Price (Friends of Duck River) for the central Duck River catchment. Brian Mc Innes recorded birds between Clyde Railway Station and Ray Marshall Reserve, Wellington Road South Granville during 3-4 June 1996. Tony Price recorded mammals, birds and hepetofauna species between the Sydney Water easement and Wellington Road. Conservation significance is as follows: R denotes regional significance (Straw 1996b; H. Jones, NPWS, pers comm.); J/C denotes listing under international treaties; *denotes introduced species). Additions to
the original fauna list compiled from observations by Kathy Mealing
(Friends of Duck River) and Jeffrey Carter along Duck River between the
Water Pipelines in Regents Park to the Wellington Rd Granville
intersection from October 1996 to January 2001. These observations are
